"At the end of your bill" study

From October 31 to November 25, 2022

For more than two years, some twenty student associations have been working within a specific working committee, headed by the Quebec Student Union (QSU), to develop a pan-Quebec study on student financing and debt.

The need for a study of this magnitude on the subject became necessary following the publication of the QSU's "Under Your Skin" study report in 2019. This study revealed that financial insecurity was one of the 3 factors that most impacted the psychological health of the student community, including psychological distress, emotional exhaustion and depressive symptoms.

The goal is to obtain a financial portrait of Quebec university students and to identify the variables specific to the university environment that are related to them. This information will be used to build a discourse and identify recommendations regarding the characteristics of the financing and spending of the Quebec university student community. The study will be distributed to members of participating student associations from October 31 to November 25, 2022.

Participation

To participate in the study, a link has been sent to you by email if you are a student at a participating institution and a member of a participating association. This link will take you to the consent form and questionnaire. For those with access to a personalized link, please note that you can pause the survey at any time, close it, and open it at a later time to continue completing it from your last save. You have until November 25 inclusive to complete the survey.

At the end of the questionnaire, you will be entered into a draw for a chance to win one of 20 gift cards worth $100 at a grocery store.
